We are new. Here is the honest case.

Choosing a payroll system is a decision you live with for years. So this page is the argument against us as well as for us, and you can read the whole thing before you talk to anybody.

The comparison

Without the marketing.

The last row is on the page on purpose. If it is the row that decides it for you, that is a reasonable decision and we would rather you made it now than in month four.

Being early

You are not late to Portuna. You are early.

That is worth something, and it costs something. Both columns are true at the same time.

What we will not do

The list is short, and we would rather you had it up front.

We will not guess a statutory rate

A tax slab, an EOBI band or a social security rule cannot go live until a named person confirms it and a second person countersigns. Where the law is unsettled, the system refuses rather than picking a number.

We will not answer for one person

Ask what a group of one costs and you are asking for somebody’s pay. The assistant declines, however the question is phrased, unless your role is allowed to see it.

We will not let one signature pay everybody

The person who prepares a run cannot be the only person who releases it. That is not a setting you can switch off to move faster.

Run one payroll. Then decide.

Nothing on this page is worth as much as one real run against your own numbers.
